HUNTS

Our hunts typically start well before the hint of first light. The previous days scouting efforts determine the location that we will set up in. We own and hunt private lands in Hunterdon, Morris, Warren, and Sussex counties. Our familiarity with the properties and with the migration patterns and food sources put us into the birds with frightening consistency.

Decoy spreads are set up by the headlights of our trucks and flashlights. We have over 30 dozen flocked Canadian Goose Decoys and hundreds of snow goose decoys. Our spreads and calling have brought in flocks ranging in number from single geese to flocks of over 400 birds! We use several types of blind configurations, but we typically supply our hunters with Avery Power Hunter Layout Blinds----a great choice when hunting a food source.

When birds are spotted and the calling begins, the true "hunt" is really taking place. Each hunter is silently urging the flock to "Lock Up" and glide into the decoy spread. As the geese co-operate, your hunting party hears the Jersey Goose Outfitters guide yell "TAKE 'EM" and the fun starts. This is what we all live for at Jersey Goose Outfitters......
